Frequently Asked Questions about IAU

1. Can I transfer credits from other schools?
Yes. If you have prior college/University credits or technical school courses, you can transfer those documented credit hours towards your Inter-American University degree. Many students completely satisfy their general education requirements through transfer credit and work experience. Call today for a free academic evaluation.

2. How much will my tuition be?
The tuition is PAID BY COURSES AND CREDITS. There is also an initial $450.00 registration fee covering the costs of enrollment, administration, and curriculum materials (Do NOT include books.). Please refer to the website, catalog or call for more tuition details.

3. Can be awarded credit for previous Academic and Work Experience?
Absolutely! Students should select courses they have not taken and/or do not have experience of training in. To receive life experience credits, your skills & knowledge attained through work experience, formal or specialized training, military service, attendance at workshops/conferences/seminars, licensure or certifications, professional authored papers or books, community service, or by other means must directly relate to one or more of the course curriculums listed for the degree program that you select.

4. When can I enroll?
Inter-American University does not impose an academic calendar on its students. Therefore u can enroll at anytime. AU’s rolling admissions and graduation policy program allows you to start your studies immediately after registration. There are no semester timetables to keep up with. You will decide when to begin the program. Our students graduate when they complete their degree requirements. Each year Inter-American University has a graduation ceremony for all graduates. Inter-American University has students in over 7 countries around the world. We make every effort for our students to attend the ceremony by moving it to a new location each year.

5. How long will it take to complete my degree?
This depends entirely upon your available time and motivation AND ALSO IN THE RESULT OF THE ACADEMIC EVALUATION.
